Hey guys I’m back, as I look to 2020 with another player to Stash on your Dynasty benches. Normally I feature a crazy mustache picture but I can’t contain excitement for Harmon.
Mostly forgotten about in all but Dynasty leagues, Kelvin is a big bodied WR that could become a red-zone and chain moving monster. At 6’2″ 215 lbs and only 21 years old, Harmon is a player that I’m excited to see play. Coming into the draft, Kelvin was my #4 WR behind Harry, A.J. Brown, and Metcalf. A member of the wolf-pack, Harmon became the first NC State WR to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards since Jerricho Cotchery.
If you only look at box scores this year, Harmon wont pop off the page, but his snap count has been climbing the past few weeks and has a very real chance to become a WR1. Washington appears to be in a youth transition with Guice, Haskins, and Harmon all 22 or under. Mclaurin is the oldest at 24, I know most will point to Terry and Dwayne playing together at Ohio State. I’m not taking away from Terry but I’d prefer to grab the 21 year old Harmon. Since week 9 Harmon has seen his snap count rise from 50% to 96% when Richardson was out, to 65% week 12. With Richardson already ruled out week 13 expect Harmon to command another 95-100% snap share this week. If Kelvin has a decent game this week don’t be surprised if he’s a top waiver priority heading into fantasy playoffs.
This is the time of season where I know if I have a shot at a championship run. I start dumping dead weight on my benches for players that will gain value before next fantasy drafts. Harmon is that type of player the talent is still there. Grab him before his price rises.
