The Stache: A Cheap Championship flex…

Hey guys, I’m back with another “Mustache: Must Stache”. This week I’m giving a shout out to @BrianMedina. Let’s dive into a WR that is sneaky Dynasty add.

Mustache of the week: Wide Receiver

Tim Patrick:

Odds are Tim Patrick is available on waivers but I’d imagine he won’t be after this Sunday.

Formerly of Utah, Patrick missed a lot of time in college and subsequently went undrafted in 2017. A forgotten big-bodied WR, Tim is being afforded the opportunity to be the WR2 and opportunity is King in fantasy. Coming off IR Patrick, saw 8 targets catching 4 for 77 yards. On a team that boasts Courtland Sutton, defenses aren’t focused on Patrick. The WR2 spot is open and Patrick has the opportunity to seize it. If the Broncos eased him last week, I can’t imagine the ceiling. In his first week back, he played only 72% of the snaps but commanded a healthy 22% market share. He also only trailed Noah Fant (11) and Courtland Sutton (9) for targets. I imagine his role only grows going forward.

Going forward:

Tim is the perfect example of a player I try to target before his role becomes fantasy viable. His value should only increase and could be the missing piece to a championship weekend. If you’re reading this before the Sunday, go grab Tim before you lose him on waivers on Wednesday. Denver plays a tough Buffalo defense that will be focused on Sutton and Fant. This looks to be a game for Patrick to nab a few TD’s (6’4″ 212lbs). With Sutton, Fant, and Lindsay/Freeman, the offense is ascending and like the Rams last year I’m looking to grab a piece. Where I don’t own Sutton, I own Patrick. Even in my main dynasty where I own Sutton, I picked up Patrick as an off-season trade piece.

STAY TUNED AS I’M BOUNCING OUT ANOTHER WR I THINK YOU SHOULD STASH GOING INTO 2020 VERY SOON
