Who are some of the top Dynasty Week 10 Waiver Wire Adds?

We are now into the second half of the 2020 NFL season. Dynasty players now have a good idea if their team should be trying to make the playoffs or start rebuilding for next season. Opportunity is what dynasty players look for. Below I list some deep dynasty adds for you to target this week off the week 10 waiver wire. If you missed my week 9 adds click here.

Week 9 Stats: 26 completions, 38 attempts, 304 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception, 1 rushing attempt, 13 yards, 1 touchdown

Season Stats: 26 completions, 38 attempts, 304 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception, 1 rushing attempt, 13 yards, 1 touchdown

Jake Luton – QB, JAX

The sixth round rookie quarterback was filling in for the injured starter Gardner Minshew (thumb). The Jacksonville coaching staff said before this game that Luton would throw the ball down field more, and he sure did. While Luton did have some overthrows and pass deflections, overall he had a solid NFL debut. I had to start him in one of my dynasty leagues, and I was very pleased. I think he’s a must add in two quarterback leagues or if you need a bye week fill in in a one quarterback league. The Jaguars play the Green Bay Packers next and will need to throw to keep up.

Week 9 Stats: 24 completions, 32 attempts, 325 yards, 1 touchdown, 3 interceptions

Season Stats: 33 completions, 49 attempts, 362 yards, 1 touchdown, 3 interceptions, 1 rushing attempt, 1 yard

Alex Smith – QB, WSH

This is the second time this season Smith has come in for the injured starter Kyle Allen. Allen suffered a dislocated ankle injury late in the first quarter. The injury looks to be a season-ender for Allen, so that means Alex Smith will be the quarterback going forward. I’ve always felt that Smith is the best quarterback on the roster, and now he will get a chance to prove it. If you’re in a two quarterback league Smith is worth the add. Washington plays the Lions next.

Week 9 Stats: 9 receptions, 184 yards, 1 touchdown, 13 targets, snap% 89

Season Stats: 9 receptions, 184 yards, 1 touchdown, 13 targets, snap% 14

Richie James – WR, SF

The San Francisco 49ers came into this Thursday night game missing their top four receivers due to injuries. Someone needed to step up and that’s exactly what James did. He and new starting quarterback Nick Mullens had lots of chemistry in this game. I expect a few of the receivers who missed this game to be back next week against the New Orleans Saints. If you have room at the back end of your dynasty roster and need receiver help why not take a chance on James. I do think this performance earned him some additional snaps going forward.

Week 9 Stats: N/A

Season Stats: 1 target, 1 fumble lost

Dante Pettis – WR, NYG

This former second round pick just got claimed off waivers by the New York Giants after being cut loose by the 49ers earlier this month. Pettis comes into the big apple as the number four wide receiver behind Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard, and Golden Tate. If the Giants are smart, they will let Pettis take over Golden Tate’s snaps to see what kind of chemistry Pettis and quarterback Daniel Jones can develop. If you look at Golden Tate’s contract, the Giants have an out after this season, and Pettis will be under contract next season. For those that are in need of wide receiver help Pettis makes for a nice end of the roster add and from the looks of it should be available of most waiver wires.
